Chico Bennett is a Los Angeles-based Grammy-nominated, Multi-Platinum music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and engineer whose work spans multiple genres, generations, and creative platforms.
Throughout his career, Chico has collaborated with a diverse range of acclaimed artists, helping shape recordings that have achieved commercial success and cultural impact while bringing a unique combination of musical instinct, technical expertise, and artistic vision to every project. His work also extends beyond music production into film, where he has composed and contributed to visual storytelling through sound.
In recent years, Chico has expanded his creative expression into filmmaking, writing and directing short films and music videos for independent artists, and in early 2021 founded Bennett Media & Entertainment (BME). In February 2026, he filmed and directed a three-part documentary series capturing the historic Legends of Hip-Hop concert event at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, featuring performances from iconic artists including KRS-One, Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, Teddy Riley, and others.
The project represents Chico’s continued evolution as a storyteller—bridging music, film, and culture through a lifelong commitment to creativity.
